Before I forget…#2 3

Before I forget…

Annalee has been singing, “This girl is on fi-yuhhh…!” just like Alicia Keys in the Citibank commercial.

She has told me a few times,  “It’s okay mom. Calm down. Take a deep breath.”

She has also told me not to be “on-er-y.”

(It’s safe to say she doesn’t miss much).

She says, “Looks like I had some  luck!” after going #2 on the potty.

She wants a “Pink President” or her BFF Mason for president in the upcoming election.

The other night she was singing what we thought was, “Put Kimmy in the bag for dinner!” in her crib. After a few minutes we realized she was actually singing, “Carry Me Back to Virginia” a song by Old Crow Medicine Show that she dances to with her daddy.

She also really loves animals and lawn ornaments.

We love our random child.

Until next time.

Before I forget… 1

…this girl

has two imaginary friends.

One named Andre (a girl).

And one named Doo Doo (a boy).

She calls Doo Doo on the phone and has full on conversations.

(And all I can think of is Doo Doo Brown).

She also really loves clothes.

Until next time.

Nine Months Pregnant, a Haircut, and (Finally) a Blog Post 1

Have you ever felt completely overwhelmed because you haven’t blogged in almost a month and you have about a million things you want to write about but you have no idea where to start?

Well, that’s how I feel right about now.

I’m nine months pregnant.

(everything I wear looks like a tent, if of course, it’s big enough to fit over the massively protruding belly)

It’s hot.

I’m tired.

I’m trying to soak in every last minute with this little girl…

(practicing her baby-wearing skills while I try to figure out how in the world to work a Moby wrap)

Before baby girl #2 arrives.

Today we went to a fancy salon and she got her first haircut…

Along with two suckers and a pink balloon.

Life is good.

As Annalee would say, “I did it!!!”

I did a blog post!!

Now that the pressure is off I can get back to doing them more regularly, like whenever AJH sleeps.

Or I can just lay on the couch in the AC.

Wish me luck!
